Paychex - Ineptitude...in the extreme.
Flex card was suspended because of “additional documents needed”, and “unauthorized charge” (optical provider charged $25 for warranty). Spoke with representative and thought the matters had been resolved and the flex card would be usable.
TEN days later, the card was still not usable. Spoke with fumbling representative who put me on hold at least five times and sounded like she was reading a script. Asked for a supervisor and was told they were all in a meeting. Finally, a “supervisor” came on the line.
I mentioned that in my prior conversation the person indicated the hold would be lifted. Apparently, no notes were made indicating a prior discussion. I then told the supervisor that my Paychex app showed the $25 charge in question had been reimbursed TEN days prior.
She said that the matter would be addressed in a priority meeting and the account would be reactivated in a few days. I insisted that it be done immediately and she declined.Frankly, I get more professionalism from my cable company...
